Navigating Independence Harbor
Independence Harbor has 14 courts spread throughout the property. Most courts have a low-rise apartment tower with up to 6 floors and some have adjacent townhouse units with their own entrances.
The property has three main areas
The Podium on the third level
This is where you can find the main entrance to the apartment towers (except Jefferson and Adams Ct) and any townhouse units .
Inside the garage on the first floor
Allows access to each court’s mailroom, recycling room and the elevator to get to the apartment tower
Outside the garage on the first floor
This is the area to the north and south of the garage along Independence Way where you can access the garage, plus every court (plus their mailroom and recycling rooms)
By vehicle, you can get between the first and third levels using either of the two ramps
Deliveries

Security will guide you but it depends where the resident is.
If they are located in Independence Way, Adams Ct or Jefferson Ct, once through security, head left or right onto Independence Way, find a green parking spot, then enter the appropriate building.
If they are in any other building…
Go straight past security into the covered garage,
Head up one of the vehicle ramps and then find visitor parking in one of the green painted visitor spots.
If you are delivering to a townhouse, they will have their own entrance.(generally 307-314 unit #’s)
If delivering to an apartment, enter the main entrance of the building using the key fob.

Small packages are a typical purchase (e.g. clothing via Amazon, small electronics, etc.) that would go to one of our mailrooms and get picked up by a resident. Please check with security in case there are any exceptions. For most courts…
Go straight past security and into the covered garage on the first floor. Do not go up the ramp
Find the appropriate building, tap the FOB to the reader and drop off your package in the mailroom (just inside the door).

When we say large deliveries (or pickups), we mean things like major appliances or furniture sets - it could also be when a resident is moving in or out of the property.
In all cases, our Security team will give you the best way up. Please note, you will not be able to get a large truck up the ramp to the podium level
Most will need to go through security and turn left or right onto Independence Way and find the appropriate building.
Please note: these need to be scheduled with management no less than 48 hours ahead of time and most will require a certificate of insurance sent prior.
By foot, access the apartment tower from either the first or third level and you can take the stairs or elevator to the unit you need to reach

Townhouse units are only accessible from the podium level (3rd floor)
Each has their own entrance, which is entered through a fenced-in patio. Townhouse units are typically unit #’s 306-317 in each court (with exceptions).
